Terms of service
Last updated October 13, 2026
Draft for our pilot. These terms are being reviewed and will be replaced with a final version. We'll tell you by email and ask you to agree again when that happens.
These terms cover your use of Tenlet, including our agents Scout (which helps you find a sublet) and Keeper (which helps you find a subletter). By creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Tenlet
- You must be 18 or older.
- Your account is for you. Use your real name and keep your sign-in method secure.
- Tenlet is in a small, invite-only pilot. We review each person and listing by hand and may decline either.
What Tenlet does
Tenlet suggests possible matches between people looking for a sublet and people offering one, and makes introductions when both sides agree. Tenlet isn't a party to any sublet, isn't a landlord, and doesn't guarantee any listing, person, match or outcome. Any agreement is between you and the other person. Meet safely and check the details yourself.
Your responsibilities
- Tell us the truth about yourself and, if you host, about your place.
- If you list a space, make sure you're allowed to sublet it under your lease and local rules.
- Follow fair housing and other applicable laws. Don't discriminate against anyone for a protected characteristic.
- Be respectful. Don't harass, mislead or spam other people, and don't misuse their contact details.
- Don't scrape, copy or interfere with the service.
Your content
You own what you share with us, such as your profile, photos and listings. You let Tenlet use it to run the service, for example to show your listing to matching searchers or your profile to hosts, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Fees
Tenlet is free during the pilot. If that changes, we'll tell you before you're charged anything.
Ending your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time from Account details. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk.
Disclaimers
Tenlet is provided as is, during an early pilot, and may change or have errors. To the extent the law allows, Tenlet isn't liable for losses that come from your use of the service or your dealings with other people you meet through it.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and ask you to agree again.
